Aleasa King, FNP
My name is Aleasa King. I was a nurse for 5 years before going back to school to become a nurse practitioner. As a nurse, I provided care to both acute and chronic adult patients. I was inspired to return back to school to become a nurse practitioner because I desired to do more and wanted to help my patients at more of an advanced level. I pursued the family route while working at a hospital and having my first baby. I chose the Family Nurse Practitioner route because of the options and the variety it offers. I am a family person and want to help everyone across the lifespan. I have spent the last 10 years in a pediatric office. As much as I love caring for the young, I have missed adult care too. I have decided to include acute adult care back into my realm. I enjoy learning and am determined to succeed wherever I may be. I believe in hard work along the way. I value teamwork and communication. I am hardworking, honest and ambitious. I am a strong self-motivator and am able to multitask.
To get more personal, I am the mother of 3 boys and 3 girls. I am a wife to a very supportive husband who encouraged me to chase my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner and is pushing me to pursue this dream of mine. I enjoy spending time with my family and value the time we share together. I like spending time outdoors, running, hiking and biking. I also enjoy crafting and baking in my spare time. I grew up on a farm and understand the value of work and commitment. Caring for others is not just my career, it is my passion, and I strive to make an impact with those of whom relationships I have made and will make in the future.
